Archontophoenix is a genus of tall, slender, unbranched evergreen feather palms native to eastern Australia. They feature an arching crown of lush, dark green leaves and produce pink to lavender flowers followed by waxy, bright red drupes. These fast-growing and adaptable palms are popular coastal ornamentals, tolerant of strong winds and various soil types, and attract birds, though they are not frost hardy and can become invasive in some regions.
