Austrian pine (Pinus nigra) is a medium-sized evergreen conifer with a pyramidal shape that matures to a rounded form and features deeply furrowed, gray to black bark. It is highly adaptable to various soil conditions and resistant to oak root fungus, making it well-suited for urban environments. This tree is often used for screens or windbreaks and also supports Imperial Moth larvae.
