Prosopis x phoenix is a hybrid mesquite adapted to arid environments of South America, resulting from the cross of Prosopis alba and Prosopis chilensis. It is typically multi-stemmed, grows quickly, and tolerates poor soils and limited water. The tree contributes to soil enrichment through nitrogen-fixing capabilities and produces fragrant white flowers in spring.
