Cotoneaster pannosus, or silverleaf cotoneaster, is a sprawling deciduous shrub native to south central China. It has dull green oval-shaped leaves with fuzzy white undersides, white flowers, and red-orange fruits that attract birds. Although resilient and adaptable to various conditions, it is considered a noxious weed in some regions due to its rapid reseeding and invasive potential.
