Jacaranda is a genus of flowering plants native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, particularly Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay. Best known for Jacaranda mimosifolia, it's an ornamental tree with vibrant blue or violet flowers appearing in spring and summer, often before its leaves fully return. It is widely cultivated globally and, while sometimes invasive, typically does not spread aggressively in drier climates.
