The Chinese Tallow Tree, often used as a shade tree, is known for its striking fall color and adaptability to warm, moist climates. It can grow as a single-trunked, upright tree or a multi-trunked, broader form, exhibiting fast growth. This species is resistant to oak root fungus but has poisonous sap and can reseed aggressively in moist conditions.
