Report an issue with this species

Abies firma is a medium-sized to large evergreen coniferous tree with a broad conical crown. It is native to central and southern Japan, where it is a significant component of temperate forests. Although sometimes used as an ornamental tree in warm temperate regions, its forests are threatened by Sika deer overbrowsing.
