Report an issue with this species

This popular ornamental tree is known for its bright red autumn foliage, showy pink or orange fruits with bright orange arils, and often strikingly furrowed bark. It produces inconspicuous yellow flowers and slender branches. While attractive, its leaves and fruits are slightly toxic if ingested, and it can be susceptible to various pests like scale insects and aphids.
