Phoenix paludosa, also known as the mangrove date palm or sea dates, is a species of palm indigenous to coastal regions of India and Southeast Asia. Growing in clusters up to 5 meters tall, it usually forms dense thickets in wet tropical climates. Its adaptability to coastal environments suggests tolerance to salt spray and saline conditions.
