Report an issue with this species

The Chinese Tallow Tree is a popular shade tree known for its spectacular fall color. It thrives in warm climates with ample moisture and can grow as single or multi-trunked specimens. This species is resistant to oak root fungus but its sap is poisonous, and decaying leaves are toxic to other plants, contributing to its classification as a noxious invader in some regions.
