Report an issue with this species

The Norway maple is a deciduous tree with sharply lobed leaves, notable for its tolerance to urban conditions like pollution, drought, and various soil types. However, it is an invasive species that outcompetes native plants, and its shallow roots can damage infrastructure. Its dense canopy can also suppress understory growth.
