Report an issue with this species

This evergreen coniferous tree is known for its long and pendulous stems that create a cascading, weeping canopy, accented by small, green to bluish-green aromatic foliage. It is native to the eastern Himalaya and can reach great heights in its native habitat. Though it tolerates drought once established, it prefers regular water and protection from frost, heat, dry weather, and strong winds.
